The 4 Simple, Yet Powerful, Chart Indicators

Price, 50 DMA, 200 DMA & Earnings Dates are the only 4 indicators you may need to quickly identify winning ideas and, maybe more importantly, AVOID LOSING IDEAS.

The Price is especially relevant when it is near the 52 Week Low, 52 Week High or All Time High.

The 50 DMA & 200 DMA help identify the trend direction and to determine support and resistance levels. Also, it's very important where the Price is relative to these 2 moving averages. The Price could be below both Moving Averages (Bearish), between the Moving Averages (Uncertain) or above both Moving Averages (Bullish).

The Earnings Dates are important because it's the only time the company discloses it's quarterly results from the previous quarter as well as future guidance. In addition to the results, it's very easy to see how the market reacts to the earnings and guidance by simply noticing the price movement post earnings.

The key is to have as many Bullish signals as possible. For example, Price near 52 Week High or All Time High, Price above both Moving Averages and Price higher Post Earnings.

Review the case studies below to learn how 4 powerful chart indicators (and awareness of current trends) can simplify trading and investing decisions.
